Osama’s death.
I’ve been seeing posts of how we’re no better than he was because we killed (“murdered” as they’re saying) him. However, this is not murder; it’s justice.
He’s led a regime of terrorists to a false belief of killing innocent people because of the differences in faiths. He tells his subordinates to blow themselves up one way or another to take as many of us out. His organization has killed thousands upon thousands and yet people say let God judge him in His own time. Ultimately, he will be judged by God, we just helped send him on his way.
If Osama really believed what he was teaching, he would have been the first example for his cause. That’s the mark of a true coward. Tell everyone else to die for your cause but you don’t become a martyr yourself? Hypocrisy.
The sadness of the situation is that this isn’t yet over though. There will be more to follow him. I pray and hope that whoever steps up next is not worse than Osama and begins to retaliate.
An eye for an eye does make everyone blind however, if you decide to take innocent life, you have forfeited your right to life.
It’s just a shame that he couldn’t have been witnessed to and saved. Talk about a testimony there. Sadly for him, this life was the best he’ll ever have had.
To the families affected by the 9/11/2001 terrorist attacks, may you hearts and souls heal a little more today.
